Good morning BULLFROG nation,

What a win against Chastain last week! THANK YOU to all the volunteers who helped make our largest meet yet run smoothly even with a rain delay.

Practice schedule this week:
  • Mon, June 20 - regular AM and PM practice and Assistant Coach Appreciation Day! Please have your swimmer bring a card, treats or a special cheer for our wonderful Assistant Coaches.
  • Tues, June 21 - AM practice only, PM meet
  • Wed, June 22 - No AM practice after a meet, PM practice only
  • Th-Sat, June 23-25 - regular AM and PM practice schedules

Swim Meet vs. the Georgetown Dolphins, Tuesday, June 21, 5:30VOLUNTEERS:

We still need volunteers for these bullpens - 7/8 Girls, 9/10 Boys, 11/12 and 13/14 Boys, and furniture movers at the end of the meet (shortest shift there is!) Go to swimptopia to sign up.

Check in for your volunteer shift at the green tent. Remember, each family is asked to volunteer 3 times during the season. There are so many families who do more than this but we need everyone to participate.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO 

4:00PM - Swimmer checkin begins 

4:15PM - Warmup - no warmups for 6 & under swimmers 

4:30PM - ALL 6&under swimmers in their bullpens 

5:30PM - Meet beings 

Check in your swimmer at the pool pavilion to receive your swimmer's individual heat sheet and then drop off your swimmer at their Bullpen (designated by age group). Give their individual heat sheet to a bullpen parent or coach to mark their arms for their events or you may do so if you can. Please do not stay in the bullpen unless you are volunteering. Once you've dropped off your child, find a spot on the pool deck to cheer. Every child needs a designated adult on site.

What to pack for your swimmer:

  • Water bottle and healthy snacks
  • Gear - cap, goggles, sunscreen and wear your team shirt if you have one
  • Two towels (at least) - one to sit on and one to dry off. Some veterans like to cut a yoga mat in half. Please no full size mats or plan to share with a buddy. We have limited space.
  • Activities/games to keep your swimmer occupied when not swimming. Ideas: dice, cards, popits, coloring/sticker books, rubiks cube, etch a sketch. ABSOLUTELY NO ELECTRONICS or CELL PHONES in the bullpens. Please no slime and gum.

Upcoming events:

Mon, June 20 - 7/8 and 9/10 moving night, 7:00PM, BWH Park Pavilion. Sign ups and info here. RSVP deadline, Saturday, June 18. Swimmers should bring a towel, sleeping bag or yoga mat to sit on. Please understand that we cannot accommodate siblings or friends who are not 7/8 and 9/10 swimmers. 

DATE POSTPONED! The 11 & Ups Family Bowling Night @ Midtown Lanes will be rescheduled.
