The end of the season is upon us! “This will be a busy week” doesn’t really do it justice, but it will be busy! Our final regular meet against Chastain is Tuesday, our Divisionals meet and end of season banquet are both on Thursday, and Championships on Saturday!

Senior coaches

As we wrap up our season, it will be time to bid farewell as our senior coaches, Eliza Normark, Nolan Shields, and Lulu Whitney head off for college. These coaches have done an outstanding job, year after year, teaching and being role models for our younger swimmers. It is a Brookwood Hills tradition to send them off to college with a gift bag to express our appreciation for their dedication to the team and our kids. You may donate to the gift bag, thank you cards, handmade cards from your swimmer, gift cards, college necessities, money, or any tokens of appreciation that you like, by bringing your gift to the banquet or bringing it to practice and giving it to Coach Tim or one of the team parents. Gifting is voluntary and any gifts are greatly appreciated! We will present the gifts to our departing seniors at the banquet on Thursday night.

Chastain Park Meet

Check in will open at 4:00 PM Tuesday. The Chastain Park pool is located at 235 W Wieuca Rd NW Atlanta, GA 30327.

Divisionals

Our Divisional meet is at Georgia Tech McAuley Aquatic Center on Thursday morning. Swimmer check-in will open at 7:45 AM. Please allow yourself extra time due to construction and congestion around the facility. Carpooling is encouraged. A map of the Georgia Tech facility is attached.

This year, only prepaid ($12) parking will be allowed in the parking lots adjacent to the Campus Recreation Center (Lot W10) and the Student Center Lot (Lot W2) across the street. If you do not get reserved parking you will have pay more ($15) to park at the State Street (Lot W23) lot a little further away from the facility. End of Season Banquet

LAST CALL! If you plan to attend the banquet on Thursday night and haven’t yet done so, please click here to RSVP. The deadline is 7:00 PM tonight. Come out and celebrate with your teammates and friends at a well-deserved end of season party!
