BULLFROG NATION!

Bullfrogs win, 320 - 276! What a night! This meet really exemplified what it means to be a Bullfrog. We were faced with multiple challenges: a daunting opponent, unforeseen and unrelenting weather, sudden failure of our electronic timing system, and more. Every Bullfrog was called upon to come together as a team last night- in the pool and on the deck, swimmers, volunteers, and spectators and, of course, we rose to meet the challenges. WHO ARE WE?!!!

Outstanding Volunteers

First, we want to give special recognition to our computer volunteers, Brett Carpenter, Susan Reese, Ali Richardson, and Lori Smith, whose extraordinary efforts were instrumental in keeping the meet moving and getting us finished without delay. After our computer timing system took a bath and failed, these volunteers switched to old-school mode and recorded the meet results manually without batting an eye. Thanks to their cool heads and flexibility, we were able to get the meet finished and results reported with minimal delay under very challenging conditions. When you see Brett, Susan, Ali, and Lori at the pool, please make sure to let them know how much we appreciate them.

Thanks to Every Bullfrog

Everywhere we turned last night, we saw volunteers coping with the awful conditions without complaint, parents stepping up to do whatever was needed of them, swimmers helping each other, parents helping others’ kids and much more. To all of our volunteers, parents, and swimmers: thank you for your part in turning what could have been an awful night into a success we can all be proud of.

Results and Ribbons

Because of our computer failure, the final meet results will go out and ribbons will be distributed by this weekend- we appreciate your understanding.

Changes to Practice Schedule

The pool will close for non-swim team activity at 4:00PM today for a dive meet. 6 and unders will practice today from 5:00 - 5:30 PM, all other age groups will practice from 4:00 - 5:00 PM.

Please RSVP for our next home meet vs Georgetown by 8:00 PM Friday.

There will be no afternoon practice tomorrow, June 13 due to the Braves game outing.
