It's hard to believe the season is almost over!  Our Divisional Meet is next Friday, June 29 at 3:30 at Georgia Tech.  The deadline to register for the meet is this Wednesday, June 20 at 5:30pm.  Please note this is an hour earlier than the regular 6:30 rsvp close.  Tim has a very quick turnaround time to get entries submitted so please get your rsvp's in asap!  We need as many swimmers as possible for this meet as the top 24 places score points.  The more swimmers we have the better chance we have for scoring points.  

The Championship Finals will be on Saturday, June 30 at the times below:

11-2 (approximate end time) 6 & under, 7/8 & 9/10

4-7:30 (approximate end time) 11 & up 

Who makes it back to finals?  The top 10 relay times, top 40 individual 10 and under times and top 30 11 and over times from the combined results of the divisional meets will return for finals on Saturday.  It is VERY IMPORTANT that you let us know if your swimmer is available to swim on Saturday if he/she makes it back.  ASA is instituting fines this year for swimmers who don't scratch, and our scratches are due at the end of the Divisional Meet on Friday.  If your swimmer does incur a fine it will be billed to your family.  We will be asking at check-in that day if your swimmer is available to swim or not at finals.  If you know for sure he/she can't swim on Saturday please go ahead and let us know in the memo section when you rsvp.

Coach Tim and the other coaches will be selecting events for swimmers for the Divisional meet.  There is a lot of strategy that goes into the process and it's all about scoring as many points as possible.  Please know that they will put your swimmers in the best events for the team as a whole.  

It's been a great season so far, and we are looking forward to finishing strong with great swimming at Divisionals and Championships.  We know this is a lot of information so please don't hesitate to reach out to any of us with questions.
